What Is Call Forwarding?

Call forwarding is a very important feature that you will find inside all phone.

If you have two phones and you do not want to take both phones together then you can forward that phone call to your other phone call by using call forwarding.

Call forwarding refers to sending calls from one number to another.

As:-If you are talking on the phone, then if your family or friend calls you on your mobile, then your number will tell busy.Here is the use of call forwarding

Types Of Call Forwarding

1.Always Forward:- With the help of this feature, you can always transfer your phone call to your other number

2.When Busy:-If you are talking to someone on the phone and your friend or your family is calling on your mobile, then your number will tell busy if you want to transfer that call to your another number, then this feature will be used

3.When Unanswered:-If your phone call is unanswered, then the call is automatically forwarded to another number with the help of this feature.

4.When Unreachable:-If the number is unreachable due to lack of network on your phone, then you can transfer your phone call of that number to another number with this feature

How to Use In Devices (1st Method)

1.Open Your Devices and Open Your Phone App

2.Select Setting Of your Phone App

3.Settings > Call > Advance settings > Call forwarding

( Please note the navigation might differ on different handsets)

4.You enter your mobile number and click on turn on, after which it will be turned on

5.In this way you can turn on any of the four options.

How We Deactivate it

1.If you want to deactivate the call forwarding code, then go to the same settings and click on what you turned on.

5.After clicking on it, now click on the turn off button as shown in the figure

2.By Codes (2nd Method)

If you want to deactivate or activate call forwarding through code, then follow the steps given below.If you are turning on the code, then for Vodafone Idea and Airtel you will have to use the same code and for Jio you will have to use a different code., Some of them are given below.

For Jio Sim card

1.Open your Dialer And Press below codes

2.Call forwarding -Always - *401*your number here

3. Call forwarding - no answer- *403*your number here

4. Call forwarding - busy - *405*your number here

5. Call Conditional call forwarding - not reachable-*409*your number here

(After Enter above code click on dial button your call forwarding will be turned on shortly)

How To Deactivate it

it can be deactivated by dialing the  below codes:

Deactivate Call forwarding- Always- *402

Call forwarding - no answer- *404

Deactivate Call forwarding - busy - *406

Deactivate Call forwarding - not reachable-*410

All forwarding - *413

(After Enter above code click on dial button your call forwarding will be turned on shortly)

For Vodafone Idea And Airtel  

Call forwarding- Always- **21*YourNumber#

Call forwarding - Unanswered - **61*YourNumber#

Call forwarding - busy - **67*YourNumber#

Call Conditional call forwarding - not reachable-**62*YourNumber#

How to Deactivate

You can deactivate call forwarding by below codes

Deactivate call forwarding - unanswered: ##61#

Deactivate call forwarding - not reachable: ##62#

Deactivate call forwarding -when busy: ##67#

Deactivate all types of calls: ##21#
