Facebook-owned WhatsApp, which is the most popular messaging platforms, bring its new payments feature. it is available in almost all Smartphones.The payments feature is being supported by State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank through UPI for its up to 20 million users in India.WhatsApp's payment service, which allows users to transfer money in a similar to sending messages, is now available in 10 Indian regional languages of WhatsApp.
The peer-to-peer (P2P) payment feature is designed with a strong set of security and privacy principles, including entering a personal UPI PIN for each payment
For sending and receiving money through WhatsApp Pay, users will first need to use the latest version of WhatsApp.
Here is Basic Steps to use in Android
- Open your Whatsapp and Click on ⋮ (three dot)

2.Then Click on Payment Option

4.You will see All banks list as shown in above figure,then click on your bank account
5.After choosing a bank account, you will have to verify your number, for this click on Verify via SMS.
6.After,your mobile number will verified automatically,then all bank accounts will appear in front of you, which bank account linked by your mobile number
7.Click on you bank account.
8.Then,a new dashboard will open,Tap Continue to verify your debit card information.
9.Enter 6 last digits of your debit card and fill expiration date then click on done
10.You will get an OTP (One Time Password) on your mobile number that may be pre-filled .
If not, enter type the OTP under ENTER OTP.
11.Create a strong UPI (Unified Payment Interface) PIN (Personal Identification Number).
12.Now enter it under SETUP UPI PIN and tap Submit.
13.Your setup will complete successfully.
14.Open the chat with whom you'd like to send money and tap attach button then click on payment option
15.Enter your amount and enter description for payment then tap send
